Dr. Georgia J. Ohlberg was born on March 25, 1969 to George and Margaret Ohlberg. Dr. Georgia is one of eight siblings who were raised on a small farm near Hamilton, Missouri. From early childhood, Dr. Georgia had dreams and aspirations to some day become a doctor.
After graduating from Penney High School in Hamilton Missouri, Dr. Georgia moved to Kansas City, MO where she resided for seven years while obtaining her degree. Along with studying to become a chiropractor at Cleveland Chiropractic College, Dr. Georgia also studied Acupuncture, Kinesiology, Nutrition, and TBM. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in September 1994. Dr. Georgia opened Downtown Chiropractic in 1999 and has been co-owner of the practice with husband Sean LaFave ever since. At the same time, Dr. Georgia continues to further her education at Parker College of Chiropractic located in Dallas, Texas and has also been a participating Chiropractor with Maximized Living, INC. since February 2006. Dr. Georgia enjoys lecturing on topics such as nutrition, exercises, wellness, injury prevention and stress management. |
